You have to get the breakfast sandwich. Best in Marin. I've been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. Has the vibe of an east coast diner, with cute booths and tables, and authentic design. Service is great, everybody is so nice, and food is incredible.
The first thing that strikes you walking through the doors is the exceedingly charming retro diner vibe. That aesthetic alone makes a meal here worthwhile. Luckily, the service and food largely lived up to that initial impression. The servers made me feel like a regular on my first visit and I felt right at home amid the old school diner trappings. My kale salad did almost everything well, but 1) I wish they offered a vegetarian protein add-on; 2) I wish the tomatoes were cut more thoughtfully than what you'd find at a cafeteria; 3) the dressing wasn't spicy as advertised on the menu. Despite those nits, I'd wholeheartedly recommend a trip to Shoreline and look forward to returning.
Shoreline is one of the institutions in Mill Valley for great reason. Fantastic food and atmosphere but most importantly some of the best people I've met work there. They are kind, attentive and always trying to deliver the absolute best experience possible which they deliver on every time in the 1,000+ times I've eaten here. Every time the food is great and the staff is amazing. So grateful to have a place like Shoreline in. My home town. I really can't give Shoreline anything but the best possible review and all fronts, we are lucky to have such a great place to go to in Mill Valley.
I bloody love this place... ssh don't tell to many people it's a local thing. Spectacular breakfast and lunch with an authentic Mexican kick. Locally sourced ingredients. The team from front to back are like family and take it all to the next level. Get your fill land laugh till you spill. Enjoy the love
