“ The first thing that strikes you walking through the doors is the exceedingly charming retro diner vibe. That aesthetic alone makes a meal here worthwhile. Luckily, the service and food largely lived up to that initial impression. The servers made me feel like a regular on my first visit and I felt right at home amid the old school diner trappings. My kale salad did almost everything well, but 1) I wish they offered a vegetarian protein add-on; 2) I wish the tomatoes were cut more thoughtfully than what you'd find at a cafeteria; 3) the dressing wasn't spicy as advertised on the menu. Despite those nits, I'd wholeheartedly recommend a trip to Shoreline and look forward to returning. ”
